Today Bluetooth is majorly used for connecting wireless earphones, speakers, mouse, or keyboards. This was when phones were getting smarter but not that smart and when the only use of Bluetooth was to send a song or a picture. It uses low-powered radio signals to operate. This includes sending pictures, songs (remember the early 2000s and 2010s?), videos, etc. Bluetooth uses specific radio frequencies to transmit data to other, nearby devices.
